Security Design Centre (SDC) has provided an integrated security system for Sonic Communications, a manufacturer of specialist helmet intercommunication systems and a wide range of high security products. Sonics' customers include Fire Services, the Military, the Police, Beefeaters at the Tower of London, L.A.PD, a number of F1 drivers and many high profile individuals.

SDC director, Mike Paul, explained: "Providing security services to Sonic is an accolade, given that they manufacture such high level security products themselves.  However, when it comes to designing and installing integrated intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems with remote site monitoring, we are the experts."

The system includes RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) card access, infrared anti-trespass beams and strategically placed internal and external CCTV cameras.  It is watched 24/7, using a broadband connection, by remote The Corps monitoring station.  Trained operators send verbal warnings to intruders and, if necessary, request immediate police intervention.
