Resolution The SurroundVideo Omni G2 series features a choice of 12- or 20-megapixel resolution options. These cameras include four individual true day/night sensors that provide an all-in-one solution for capturing wide area video surveillance while maximizing the field-of-view and reducing the total number of cameras required; saving installers time and end users money. Optic For added flexibility, users can place the four individual three-axis lens gimbals independently in nearly any configuration on the track for applications such as to see down all four hallways or on the corner of a building for a 270° view. The three-axis lens adjustment provides users with more camera placement options, allowing the cameras to be easily mounted on a wall or ceiling so they can rotate the lens in a variety of directions for a precise field of view. The new line of multi-megapixel cameras is designed for applications where both high-resolution and a minimal footprint are required. MicroDome cameras are available in resolutions of 1.3 megapixels (MP), 1080p, 3MP and 5MP with an option for true Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) imaging at 1080p and 3MP. In its surface mount housing, the Arecont Vision MicroDome camera is IP66 environmental rated to resist dust and water. The domes on all MicroDome cameras are IK-10 impact resistant. Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP megapixel camera technology, announces the availability of the world's first 40-megapixel day/night panoramic camera, which provides a 180-degree panoramic view using four high-sensitivity 10-megapixel sensors, each offering a 3,648 x 2,752 pixel view at 7fps, for a total image area of 14,592 x 2,752 pixels at 1.5fps. The AV40185DN camera uses dual H.264 and MJPEG encoders for great flexibility depending on compression preferences. The panoramic camera also can be binned to 2.5-megapixels per sensor, increasing light sensitivity and frame rate. The 180-degree SurroundVideo® 40-megapixel cameras offer standard hard in-ceiling mount or surface-mount configurations out of the box, plus wall and pendant mount using optional accessories. The units are available with an optional integrated heater and blower. The SurroundVideo® housing and polycarbonate dome are for outdoor use and IK-10-rated for vandal resistance. An easily adjustable 2-axis gimbal provides 360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt adjustment. On-camera privacy mask enables video to be blocked in multiple regions in any desired shape.
