Pauline Norstrom, Director of Worldwide Marketing at AD GroupPauline Norstrom, the Director of Worldwide Marketing at CCTV specialist AD Group - the parent company of Dedicated Micros - has been re-elected as Chairman of the CCTV Section of the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).  The result will see Norstrom remain in this pivotal role allowing her to continue to oversee the development and promotion of CCTV best practice.

Alongside being Chairman of the CCTV Section, Norstrom heads-up its technical committee, TC/10, which focuses on CCTV standards and guidance from digital video evidence to the implications of Chip and PIN.

She is also Chairman of the BSIA's National PR Committee which co-ordinates the promotion of its activities; and the security industry's representative - on behalf of the BSIA - on the National CCTV Strategy Board which has brought together key stakeholders such as the police and the Home Office to develop an holistic approach to the specification, deployment and governance of CCTV technology.

Said Pauline Norstrom:  "I am delighted to be re-elected as Chairman of the CCTV Section, particularly as CCTV continues to be very much in the spotlight.  My aim is to continue to work closely with key stakeholders including the end users, installers, the police and government, and see the BSIA continuing to act as a strong advocate for best practice in all aspects of CCTV - from installation to operation - a position which I am pleased to say is now recognised internationally."
