SMP Robotics begins shipments of the new Argus S5.4 autonomous mobile robot in March 2026. The platform features an onboard computer powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX, designed for edge AI, deep video analytics, and real-time deployment of third-party software applications directly on the robot.
With Argus S5.4, SMP Robotics is expanding beyond autonomous patrolling and opening a production-grade mobile robot platform for accredited third-party developers. Certified AI modules can be deployed on the robot and distributed through SMP Store, a curated marketplace for onboard analytics, security software, and specialised AI applications.
