Product Profile

Version 3.6.1 of the Axxon Next video management software is now available. Highlights in the new version include improved stability and performance.

What's new in Axxon Next 3.6.1:

  • Slow connection times for remote clients on domains with large configurations have been fixed.
  • A newer version of the ffmpeg library (2.3) has been included.
  • Web client functionality has been improved. Thumbnail loading has been optimized, reducing server loads in many cases.
  • New localisations have been added: European and Brazilian Portuguese, Slovak, Lithuanian, and Italian.

In addition, Axxon Next 3.6.1 includes ease-of-use improvements: refinements have been made to Time Compressor, which dynamically generates visual scene synopses that include all moving objects recorded during selected video intervals while maintaining true-to-life speed. Changes have been made for storage as well, thanks to stability improvements to the timeline that make viewing of recorded video easier and more convenient than in previous versions.

This release includes Drivers Pack 3.2.27 for IP device support which offers support of 93 new models of IP devices. Drivers Pack makes it possible to quickly augment the lists of integrated devices with the most popular models of network cameras and video servers on the market. The wide spectrum of compatible IP equipment allows the user to select the optimal system configuration for any type of site.
