BLC is achieved by special weighting integration of 225 separate windows. This digital colour camera presents both day time and night time infrared sensitive pictures. Typically, as light reduces to about 2 lux, the camera changes automatically to become IR sensitive. The Hyper HAD chip technology ensures that sensitivity is excellent (0.3 lux) with low noise. Adjustable gamma (0.45 or 1) allows optimum setting for image quality.

Where necessary the super AGC boosts the video signal by another 6 db. Smart BLC is achieved by a combination of Histogram and windows weighted integration of 225 separate windows. The advanced Auto Tracking White balance ensures that colour images remain natural, iris gain and white balance is simultaneously controlled so that a clear image is produced even under extreme lighting conditions. Also available in the ARX-4H3T model with high resolution at 480 TV lines.
