Siqura is currently developing an advanced camera platform that puts entire video analytics systems in stand-alone devices at the edge of the network. Taking analytics to the perimeter of a surveillance system not only enhances the overall efficiency of the system but ensures more accurate and effective analysis of critical video material. The camera platform will be released in the fall of 2011. The first available solution will be the Siqura 600 series, a collection of standard definition (SD) multi-streaming fixed box-style IP cameras designed to have superior wide dynamic range and excellent image control in low-light conditions. Subsequent camera models based on this innovative new platform will be released by the end of the year as the Siqura 800 series and will offer full HD (1080p) resolution.Full intelligence at the edgeUsing a dedicated DSP, Siqura 600 and 800 series cameras are embedded with field-proven analytics algorithms capable of detecting intruders as well as tracking and counting objects in both outdoor and indoor applications. These devices optimise detection performance by storing and transmitting the metadata or analysis parameters alongside the video material. This makes the output of these devices ideal for forensic examination.Transmitting over any mediumTo accommodate any streaming situation, from short segments to vast distances, and to resourcefully take advantage of the existing network infrastructure, Siqura 600 and 800 series solutions are capable of streaming Ethernet signals over fibre optic, coax, or Cat 5 cabling."Network cameras being developed today need to be able to handle IP traffic, regardless of the medium connecting them to the network", said Roger Decker, Director of Solutions and Marketing at Siqura. "That is why Siqura IP solutions can connect directly to a fixed network or wireless bridge via twisted-pair, coax, or fibre optic cabling. We want customers to be able to select hardware based on its ability to withstand variances on the network and to provide high-quality streams and not because of the kind of network it can connect to."Guaranteed availabilityIn an effort to combat potential pitfalls, Siqura integrated its Camera Health Check into its 600 and 800 series. The Camera Health Check guarantees the availability of quality video material. It continually assesses the well-being of the camera by monitoring the camera's position and image quality. It conveys the status information via an intuitive dashboard-style user interface. When something is amiss, the application triggers an alarm to promptly alert operators. This, in turn, provides a proactive approach towards system maintenance, potentially reducing the unnecessary costs generally associated with scheduled upkeep.

This autumn it’s all about the Candid, because eneo is now really pulling out all the stops with its consistent development of the successful product series. What’s new? The practical bullet cameras are now available for all three technologies: analogue, IP, HDcctv. And across all technologies and in all sizes. Whilst the Candid was previously only available in medium and large, the model series is now finally dimensionally complete with the new Candid Small. And with the introduction of the first thermal cameras, Candid is also positioned more broadly with regard to technology than ever before. A success story The Candid fulfils ultimate requirements placed on security and shape, which is proven by the growing numbers of satisfied customers impressed by the balanced, functional design of the bullet cameras. To say nothing of its technical features. Installers are also convinced as their work has been made immensely easier by the practical plug & play installation of the easy-to-handle bullet camera. No wonder, since it’s exactly the specific practical requirements what our product experts focus on so they can continue providing improvements in the future, through innovative camera technology and intelligent accessories such as the practical camera junction box AK-4. Small but with a performance to be seen: Candid Small With the new Candid Small, eneo has now rounded off the successful bullet camera series that was only available in the M and L sizes until now. Its dimensions have been reduced to a minimum allowing the smallest Candid housing to combine the advantages of the larger Medium and Large models – protection rating IP68, extended temperature range from -40°C to 50°C, integrated IR illumination, plug & play installation – with an extremely compact construction which also makes the housing a good recommendation for discrete indoor surveillance tasks. Just like the Medium and Large models, a 2 megapixel IP camera module (Full HD, 1080p) is also available for the Candid Small. Bigger selection than ever before, including thermal imaging technology Six current new arrivals, three IP and three HDcctv cameras, enrich the model series in the day/night camera product section. They are available in the three sizes small, medium and large. The S and M sizes have a motorised zoom lens with an autofocus function and a focal length of 3-9 mm; the two large models are 2-megapixel cameras with a 20x zoom lens (autofocus). In addition to these brand new cameras which are worth considering for many different types of applications due to their variable focal length, the Candid thermal cameras open up fully new fields of application. The first models are available in a Candid Medium bullet housing, as practical as it is elegant with IP67 protection and designed for fast plug & play installation. These are uncooled thermal imaging systems which operate maintenance-free over many years. That’s why they are the best economical solution wherever objects are to be detected at a maximum distance of 4 km. The new eneo cameras are available with a choice of 5 mm, 9 mm, 13 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm and 35 mm focal lengths with ranges from 330 to 4050 metres. Their thermal sensitivity lies at 50 millikelvin at an ambient temperature of 25°C. There is no technology system question with eneo thermal cameras as they have analogue as well as IP connectivity. By the way, connectivity: each module also has an external USB port. Speaking about our innovations: a Full HD version of the sturdy and versatile Callisto fixed dome is now also available.

Climax Technology launches new-generation Indoor and Outdoor PIR Motion Sensor Camera, VST-892/VST-892EX Series, both of which adopt revolutionary SF1 technology. SF1 technology endows compatible products with optimum image transfer speed while preserving high resolution, which is unparalleled by any products in the current market. Alarm Image Transmission Speed 3 Times Faster: An Upgrade from F1 Technology As SF1 technology is an upscaling to the existing F1, the next-generation motion sensor cameras retain F1’s 2-Km long communication range, while having an even faster, state-of-the-art image transmission speed. In fact, SF1 technology is capable of leveraging alarm image transmission speed at around 2 to 3 times comparing to the rate of its previous generation, which makes it the fastest in the industry. HD Image Transfer at Recording-breaking Rate SF1 technology can make visual verification faster and more real-time. Due to the faster processing speed, the motion sensor cameras are capable of sending HD images for more detailed verification. Thus, the SF1-enhanced motion sensor cameras can transfer a high definition image in 14 seconds. Due to elevated transferring speed, the image’s resolution is not being compromised. The upgrade ensures that all details vital to visual alarm verification are promptly notified to users. Energy Saving to Sustain Longer Battery Life Due to faster transmitting speed of SF1 technology, the products now consume ultra-low power even when sending signals across a vast distance. Besides, SF1’s faster transmission rate makes devices’ operation smoother and save their battery life. This is especially crucial for battery-powered outdoor cameras which can have more flexibility and stability with a longer run of battery. This advantage also reduces the camera’s maintenance costs considerably.
