VideoIQ VIQ-HD-CRD250-3-8 delivers full 1080p resolution and frame rate, zero bandwidth recording
VideoIQ VIQ-HD-CRD250-3-8 delivers full 1080p resolution and frame rate, zero bandwidth recording

VideoIQ® iCVR-HD cameras are innovative surveillance cameras that deliver full 1080p resolution and 30fps, zero bandwidth recording, full megapixel analytics and support for IQTrack™ - automatic digital PTZ zoom and track.  Intelligent, onboard Network Video Recorder (NVR) storage eliminates the need for central servers and separate high capacity networks – reducing deployment costs and system complexity, time and resources. In addition, VideoIQ’s embedded, adaptive analytics are continuously self-calibrating, delivering accurate and reliable real-time threat detection and forensic evidence at no additional cost.  Full 1080p resolution and frame rate – with almost seven times the resolution of a standard VGA camera, the iCVR-HD allows customers to either digitally zoom-in for superior detail, or cover nearly three times the horizontal area, reducing costs by requiring fewer cameras for the same area. Full megapixel analytics – VideoIQ patented video analytic technology is the only technology capable of processing a full megapixel stream on camera – producing market-leading accuracy and over twice the range of any D1 analytic solution. Zero bandwidth megapixel recording – With up to 750GB of onboard storage, the iCVR-HD can record and store weeks of video, reducing bandwidth consumption by over 90% and eliminating the need to stream high-resolution images to a central NVR. On-board distributed storage allows customers to deploy video surveillance solutions in mixed, low-bandwidth IT environments, making video surveillance a practical option for areas that used to be difficult to reach. View™ Software with IQTrack™– when used in conjunction with iCVR-HD cameras, View provides enhanced operator effectiveness by automatically identifying, tracking and zooming in on people and vehicles to deliver enhanced detail while continuing to monitor and record the entire scene. View VMS software is bundled with all VideoIQ devices and is free with no licensing fees. Integrated with your Video Management System – iCVR-HD cameras are pre-integrated with leading 3rdparty Video Management Systems, including providers like Genetec, Lenel, Milestone and OnSSI. Motorised focus –iCVR-HD cameras have an optional motorised-focus lens which can be remotely focused, rather than manually adjusted. This helps to significantly reduce installation time, improve accuracy and ensure crisp, high-quality images.Contact VideoIQ for more informtion

Award-winning direct-to-fibre IP PTZ camera
Award-winning direct-to-fibre IP PTZ camera

The new Siqura IP PTZ camera line includes a flexible SFP interface for directly connecting to a fiber optic network. This feature simplifies both the setup and maintenance of camera installations where a fiber network is utilised to overcome long-distance limitations.Award-winning direct-to-fiber IP PTZ cameraDue to the reliable and secure nature of fiber optic networks, Siqura is now offering its IP PTZ dome cameras with a plug-and-play fiber optic connector option. This feature simplifies the setup, maintenance, and appearance of camera installations where a fiber network is utilised to overcome long-distance limitations. At the ISC West 2011 trade show in April, these pioneering new cameras won the New Product Showcase award for the best IP camera in video surveillance. The New Product Showcase (NPS) is an awards program established by the Security Industry Association to recognize innovative products, services, and solutions in electronic physical security. Technologies showcased through this program are used in the protection of life and property in residential, commercial, and institutional settings.Improve quality while reducing costsThere are few media available in the video surveillance industry that improve image quality while at the same time reducing costs. Yet fiber optic networks do just that. They also maintain the integrity of signals over longer distances and offer more bandwidth than twisted-pair or coax cables. Not to mention that fiber cabling is impervious to electromagnetic interference, such as that caused by high-voltage power lines and lightning.Due to the ubiquitous nature and the advantages of fiber optic networks, as well as the current migration from analog to IP streaming, Siqura is now offering its Siqura IP PTZ dome cameras with a fiber optic connector option. With a flexible SFP interface built into the PTZ body, a wide range of single mode, multimode, and CDWM modules can be used and an impressive range of mounting options are available."Network equipment being developed today needs to be able to handle IP traffic, regardless of the medium connecting it to the network," said Roger Decker, Director of Solutions and Marketing at Siqura. "That is why Siqura recently developed five new IP PTZ dome cameras that can connect directly to a fixed network or wireless bridge via either twisted-pair or fiber optic cabling. We want customers to be able to select hardware based on its ability to withstand variances on the network and to provide high-quality streams."A solution for every situationThis new camera line consists of five cameras, each optimized for its application, with indoor, outdoor, compact (MSD), and high-speed (HSD) dome camera options. Each camera is capable of quad-streaming, supporting dual H.264 streams in addition to highly configurable MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and MJPEG. This flexibility in compression standards makes it easy for these Siqura cameras to offer the best quality video while at the same time streamlining network performance. All the Siqura cameras are designed to comply with worldwide adopted standards and are tested with leading VMS vendors. This makes it possible to query or set PTZ coordinate positions or to integrate Siqura cameras into third-party systems. Furthermore, the new Siqura IP PTZ camera line comes with an easy-to-use, access-controlled, Web-based user interface, allowing users to configure or view video streams from a PC or even via handheld devices, such as PDAs.Since surveillance conditions can vary widely even for just one camera, this Siqura IP PTZ camera series also includes a day/night (IR-cut filter) and backlight compensation as standard features that can be applied manually or automatically when lighting conditions require it. The wide dynamic range functionality ensures excellent video quality, even in the most difficult of circumstances.Additionally, the Siqura HSD and MSD cameras are part of the Siqura product line, an extensive collection of video surveillance equipment offering complete solutions and reputed for quality and reliability.
